The Star sailboat was designed way back in 1910 and was an Olympic class from 1932 to 2012. Don’t get your halyards in a twist though, the Star class is alive and well! I know a couple of big guys that have recently become involved with the class and they are racing hard. All over the U.S. there are Star regattas and avid sailors who just can’t get enough of this boat.
