I mean we do have a tonne of oil, many many litres of fresh water along with the rare earth minerals needed to make all sorts of things. It seems pretty likely that ol’ Don would like to get his hands on our assets.

The thing is, other than a few misfits, I don’t think most Canadians want anything to do with becoming American. We like Americans. We like to visit and be visited. We watch American TV and movies but fundamentally Canadians are quite different.
