Last year Mrs. Shirt Bus and I decided to do a road trip down through Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans and a bit of Florida. Despite the too many hours of driving it was a fun trip. From the great music of Nashville, the iconic Bourbon St. and of course Memphis, home of Sun Studio and Elvis Presley. The studio is one of the big attractions is Memphis, besides the ginormous pro bass pyramid store… that we took in. It was a great tour that allowed us a glimpse into the early years of rock and roll. At the end of the tour you get to go into the original studio space and there in the middle is the mic that according to the tour guide none other than Elvis himself would have used in his early recordings. I of course took a quick picture and filter here and crop there later we get the ultimate Elvis fan must have, a Sun Studio Mic T Shirt.
