In 2022 with close to two years of pandemic restrictions under our belts, a mob of people with various complaints descended on Ottawa, Canada’s capital city. Let’s face it, everybody was sick of the pandemic by this point. For three weeks this group demonstrated against everything from the current government to pandemic lock downs to vaccines to oil taxes and whatever else was bugging them at the time. I get it, there are a lot of contentious issues, and people feel that they are not being heard. In the end the police forces from several major Canadian cities moved in and respectfully removed the protesters from Ottawa’s streets. They called themselves the freedom convoy and no matter what you think, this rag tag group definitely made themselves noticed.

The one thing though that I’ve heard people talking about since then is the use of Canada’s flag as a symbol of the trucker’s rally. Many people feel that this small group appropriated the flag for their own ends and that now somehow the old maple leaf is tarnished. All this to say that in the aftermath of the protest it is time to take the flag back for the majority of Canadians. A) Length

Place the end of the tape beside the collar at the top of the shirt (Highest Point Shoulder). Pull the tape measure to the bottom of the shirt.

B) Half Chest

Lay the garment down on a flat surface and measure it from left to right across the chest, about 2cm below the arms.

Measurements are provided by suppliers and garments may run smaller or larger with a difference of +/- 2.5cm (1 in)
