I was in a hip downtown store and they were selling Bauhaus posters. I kind of liked one in particular so I grabbed a quick photo for reference. Bauhaus was a German art school operational from 1919 to 1933 that combined crafts and the fine arts. It was famous for it’s approach to design built around mass production, function and artistic merit. The movement meant to affect all forms of creativity from architecture to graphics. The Bauhaus style became influential in modern design and is still relevant today. Anyway when I looked at it again later it seemed a little cheeky to totally rip of someone else’s work. Semi circles become triangles and then Bauhaus became Birdhaus. Little circles were added and voila the Bauhaus Style Birdhaus T Shirt.
